There are a number of other things to consider when ordering an architectural model from us. Depending on the model's size and location, you may require a plinth for it to sit on. We also recommend an acrylic cover for each model to help keep it clean and reduce the risk of the model being broken. Finally, you will need to consider delivery of your architectural model to its chosen location. We have a number of options available for all of these areas, so please read the following page.
At 360 Models, we are able to create bespoke plinths for all of our architectural models. They are individually made to suit the client's requirements. When a scale model is ordered for a marketing suite, it becomes the focal point of the room. With this in mind, we can design and build a plinth in the same style as the marketing suite. Plinths for larger models can be utilised for extra storage of brochures and marketing literature. We can add doors and shelves into the plinth to maximise the space. All of our plinths ensure our models are always viewed at an optimum height and remain stable and secure throughout their life span.
We are able to provide a sturdy, acrylic cover for all of our architectural models. We strongly recommend including a cover in your order as they are a vital tool in ensuring your model remains safe and clean for as long as you need it. All of our covers are individually made from clear acrylic at a variety of thicknesses. They are designed to fit over the model and locate into the base. Our system allows easy access should you need to make amendments to the model in the future.
We can deliver models to any where in the UK. Due to the value and fragile nature of the models we offer three options for delivery, each ensuring the safe and punctual arrival of your model.
When the development is complete we are able to remove the model and recycle components. Occasionally, we are able to find it a new home as a demonstration model in schools or colleges.
